Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team in Powder Springs. This opportunity is suited to a senior tax professional with a strong technical foundation, significant industry experience, and the credentials to take ownership of complex tax engagements and provide leadership to the wider tax team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Review federal and state tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters.
• Conduct tax research and apply relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee and support the work of tax professionals.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and engagement requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Mentor and develop members of the tax team.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant tax experience.
• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex engagements and competing deadlines.
