Responsibilities:

• Responsible for individual income tax compliance, tax counselling, tax projections, tax notices, and other financial-related support for the partners of the firm.
• Review work papers, tax returns, and related work products prepared by staff members for accuracy and conformity with tax law and documentation standards.
• Strong technical skills in the following areas: High Net-Worth Individuals, Partnership and Multi-State Taxation Theory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently.
• Strong client management skills, ability to gain the confidence of the client, and communicate complex tax matters in a manner clients can understand.
• Ability to manage a high-volume client load with minimum supervision in addition to managing one or more projects throughout the year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting with a focus on tax.
• CPA License or Candidate Preferred.
