Our client is seeking a versatile accounting professional with strong experience across both tax and bookkeeping. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with several years of relevant experience, particularly within a CPA firm, who can contribute across both areas and provide dependable support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support federal and state tax filings.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with tax preparation, research, and related client requirements.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve accounting or tax questions.
• Manage multiple client assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and client service.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of combined tax and bookkeeping experience.
• CPA firm experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work across both tax and bookkeeping functions.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential preferred.
• Candidates actively working toward a CPA or EA credential are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a professional team.
