Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager with deep expertise in Canadian Compilation Engagements. This opportunity is particularly suited to a seasoned public accounting professional who can bring significant technical knowledge, leadership experience, and strong client relationships to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Canadian Compilation Engagements from planning through completion.
• Provide technical guidance on compilation and accounting matters.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Review financial statements and engagement documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide leadership and direction to accounting and assurance team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and client service.
• Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at the Senior Manager level.
• Extensive and recent experience with Canadian Compilation Engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of Canadian accounting and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and engagements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• US Tax knowledge is considered an asset.
