Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their finance function in The Woodlands, Texas. This role suits an experienced audit professional who can lead fieldwork, review work to a high standard and communicate findings clearly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document audit engagements in line with professional standards
• Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback
• Evaluate internal controls and identify risks, gaps and areas for improvement
• Prepare clear audit reports and workpapers
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management
• Follow up on remediation to confirm issues are resolved

Key requirements

• Proven experience in an audit role, whether internal, external or both
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
