Responsibilities:
- Responsible for individual income tax compliance, tax counseling, tax projections, tax notices, and other financial-related support for the partners of the firm.
- Review work papers, tax returns, and related work products prepared by staff members for accuracy and conformity with tax law and documentation standards.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in areas such as High Net-Worth Individuals, Partnership, and Multi-State Taxation Theory.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, solid research abilities, and the capacity to work well in a team environment or independently.
- Manage client relationships effectively, gaining the confidence of clients and communicating complex tax matters in an understandable manner.
- Handle a high volume of client load with minimal supervision, while managing one or more projects throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Taxation
- 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting
- CPA License or Candidate or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred
- Master’s in Taxation/Accounting preferred
