Tax Associate

Job Description

Our prestigious client, a top financial institution, is looking for a unique Individual to join their team as a Tax Associate in Boca Raton, FL. This position provides a chance to engage with a dynamic financial community and play a key role in enhancing our client’s operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate and partnership tax services, including compliance, planning, and research as well as tax strategies, compensation, and benefit plans.
• Prepare a variety of tax returns (ie. corporations, S corporations, partnerships)
• Participate in accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations
• Monitors and maintains accurate records of each client’s tax situation
• Formulates, implements, and evaluates legal tax reduction strategies
• Performs tax audits
• Ensures company documents and filings are compliant with IRS regulations at both the federal and state levels
  • Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business Administration
• CPA or EA license preferred but not required.
• 5+ years’ experience
• Must have extensive experience with multi-state Partnership structures, with real estate exposure being a plus
