Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Designer/Engineer to support a diverse range of structural engineering projects from design and analysis through documentation and field surveys. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who can work independently while delivering technically sound and practical structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering design, analysis, and calculations.
• Prepare structural drawings and related project documentation.
• Support new construction, alterations, and renovation projects.
• Conduct field surveys and assess existing structural conditions.
• Apply appropriate engineering standards and design principles to project work.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop effective structural solutions.
• Communicate technical information clearly with colleagues and project stakeholders.
• Manage assigned work efficiently while meeting project requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, AutoCAD, RISA, ENERCALC, and RAM.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • ACI 318 Concrete Design.
  • AISC LRFD/ASD Steel Design.
  • NDS Wood Design.
  • ASCE 7 Minimum Design Loads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized, self-disciplined, and capable of working independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
