Job Description

Our client is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to contribute to the planning and design of civil engineering projects in Austin. This opportunity is suited to an engineer with strong technical skills who can develop accurate design documents and work effectively as part of a project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs, plans, and construction documents.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis as required.
• Prepare and review civil design drawings and supporting documentation.
• Apply appropriate engineering principles, codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Assist with site and infrastructure design activities.
• Coordinate technical information with project teams, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Review designs and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify design issues and assist in developing practical solutions.
• Support project schedules and timely completion of deliverables.

Candidate Requirements

• Civil engineering degree or relevant engineering education.
• Professional experience in civil engineering design.
• Strong understanding of civil design principles and practices.
• Proficiency with commonly used civil design and drafting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
