Transportation Project Manager
Job Description
Our client is a leading regional civil and transportation engineering firm with a strong track record of delivering high-impact infrastructure projects across Maryland, Virginia, and the Mid-Atlantic. Specializing in roadway design, traffic engineering, stormwater management, and construction oversight, they are recognized for their collaborative culture, technical rigor, and longstanding relationships with state DOTs and local municipalities.
As they continue to grow their presence in Northern Virginia, they’re looking for a knowledgeable and driven Transportation Project Manager to take the lead on key transportation initiatives and help guide the next generation of engineering talent.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering, including project management responsibilities
- PE license in Maryland required; must be eligible to obtain Virginia PE within 6 months
- Project experience with MDOT SHA and Maryland municipalities
- Proficiency with design software:
- Roadway Design: MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Traffic Engineering: Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA
- Water Resources: HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, SWMM
