Traffic Engineering Group Leader
Job Description
Our client provides exceptional planning, design, and construction inspection services across civil, water and wastewater, structural, and transportation engineering projects. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineering Group Leader to join their Doral office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients and preparing detailed engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and schedules. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Transportation Engineering related discipline (Master’s Degree or PhD is preferred)
- Approximately 15 years of practical traffic experience with at least 10 years as a Florida Professional Engineer.
- PTOE certification is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles along with familiarity with MUTCD, AASHTO, ITE standards, state DOT requirements, policies, manuals, and procedures.
- IMSA Level II or III certifications or the ability to obtain them within 6 months is required.
