Our client is a well-established transportation and infrastructure engineering firm with a strong presence across the Southeast. With decades of experience delivering traffic operations, roadway design, and planning services, they’re known for their collaborative culture, technical excellence, and long-term relationships with both public and private clients—including significant contracts with FDOT.
This firm is committed to delivering innovative, cost-effective transportation solutions that improve mobility and safety. They are currently expanding their Gainesville office and are seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer / Project Manager to join their growing team.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, or currently scheduled to take the PE exam in 2025
- 5+ years of relevant experience in traffic engineering
- FDOT experience highly preferred (including familiarity with FDOT processes, standards, and software)
- Proficiency in traffic engineering tools (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, AutoCAD/MicroStation)
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Must be able to work on-site in Gainesville, FL (relocation assistance available for qualified candidates)
