Tax Senior

Job Description

Our prestigious client, a top financial institution, is looking for a Tax Senior to become a part of their team in Portland, ME. This position provides a chance to engage with a dynamic financial community and play a key role in enhancing our client’s operational success.

Responsibilities:
Provide individual tax compliance and advisory services for our high-net-worth business clients.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience to our clients and their owners.
Build and manage relationships with our clients.
Build and manage teams of tax professionals focused on delivering tax services to our high-net-worth business clients.
Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
Assist teams focused on partnership and corporate tax compliance in slower periods.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business Administration.
CPA or EA license preferred but not required.
5+ years of general tax experience, preferably with experience in individual, trust, and business flow-through entity taxation, as well as experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families, corporate executives, and/or owners of closely held businesses.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
