Responsibilities:

• Spearhead all facets of the tax department, including individual income tax compliance, tax counseling, projections, notices, and other financial support for the firm’s partners.
• Review work papers, tax returns, and related work products prepared by staff members for precision and adherence to tax laws and documentation standards.
• Demonstrate robust technical prowess in High Net-Worth Individuals, Partnership, and Multi-State Taxation Theory.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, along with adept research abilities, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Showcase adept client management skills, instilling confidence in clients and effectively communicating complex tax matters in an accessible manner.
• Manage a high volume client load with minimal supervision, while overseeing one or more projects throughout the year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in tax accounting or related role.
• CPA/EA certification is strongly preferred but not required.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required.
• Comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with finesse.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
