Requirements include:
- Education: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Planning.
- Licensure: California registration as a Civil Engineer or Land Surveyor; exemptions available with additional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in civil engineering, land surveying, or planning.
- Skills: Knowledge of project management, contract management, scheduling, budget control, and proposal writing.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and budgeting/scheduling tools.
- Supervision Level: First-level management position overseeing a team of 3 to 10 employees.
