Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
Job Description
Our client is a growing, full-service civil engineering and surveying firm with a strong presence across the Southeast, is urgently seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to take ownership of the Nashville, TN region. Their services include land development, transportation, utility design, GIS mapping, and surveying solutions for both public and private sector clients. Known for quality work, quick turnaround, and deep local knowledge, they’re trusted by developers, municipalities, and contractors alike.
Requirements include:
- Active Tennessee PLS license (or eligibility for reciprocity within 3 months)
- 7+ years of progressive experience in land surveying, with leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency with survey technology (GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Strong knowledge of boundary laws, ALTA/NSPS standards, and subdivision regulations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
