Experienced Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We’re collaborating with a design-focused MEP firm driven by quality engineering and smart, sustainable solutions. Their projects span healthcare, education, multi-family, mixed-use, industrial, and high-performance buildings. While their team includes strong junior and mid-level engineers, they are now looking for a seasoned professional who can confidently lead from the front — delivering designs, solving challenges, and owning client relationships.
Requirements include:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license – active and in good standing
- 10+ years of mechanical design experience in HVAC and plumbing systems
- Minimum 6 years as a PE with direct project leadership
- Proven track record of delivering full mechanical designs independently
- Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and energy compliance (ASHRAE, LEED, etc.)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical calculation tools
- Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A solutions-first mindset and a passion for high-quality engineering
