As an Assurance Associate, you will support audit and assurance engagements, collaborate with senior auditors, and help clients ensure their financial statements comply with relevant regulations. This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience while advancing your career in public accounting.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certifications: CPA candidate or actively pursuing CPA certification
Experience: 1-2 years of public accounting or assurance experience preferred
Skills & Expertise:
Audit Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
Documentation: Ability to prepare clear and accurate workpapers
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Excel
Detail-Oriented: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills & Attributes:
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a team environment
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
Travel: Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
Ethics: High level of integrity and professionalism
