Structural Project Engineer – Nonlinear Analysis & Building Design

Job Description

Do you have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of structural systems, and a passion for designing safe, resilient buildings? We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience to join a highly respected structural engineering consultancy in El Segundo, CA.

This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to lead complex building projects, interface with clients, and mentor junior staff while leveraging your nonlinear analysis expertise and broad design experience.

Requirements include:

• S. and M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s with structural emphasis required).
• E. license in California.
• 4–10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in building design.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and nonlinear modeling tools (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Perform-3D).
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Experience developing construction documents with minimal oversight.
• Prior experience leading engineering staff and managing deliverables.
