Job Description

Our client, a leading firm specializing in structural bridge design and engineering, is looking for a Structural engineer with bridge design experience, to join their team in Des Moines, IA.

Requirements include:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in design and construction oversight of bridge structure projects in the United States.
• Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structures emphasis); a Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
• PE License required.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or project management experience is preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse stakeholders, including non-technical clients, architects, civil engineers, municipal leaders, and the general public.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Proven track record as a problem solver with the capability to manage project challenges effectively.
