Job Description
Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with a reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems design. Serving a broad client base across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, the firm offers services ranging from system design and energy modeling to project management and commissioning. As the Project Manager – Mechanical PE, you will be in responsible charge of the mechanical division. This includes serving as Lead Design Engineer, managing a team of engineers and designers, and ensuring that all mechanical systems projects are executed to the highest standards.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Active PE license (Professional Engineer) in California
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical systems design and project management
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams and leading complex projects
- Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems design
- Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) preferred
